Hoops For Troops 2015

On November 3, 2015, the NBA launched the fourth annual Hoops for Troops Week. Running through Veterans Day (November 11), Hoops For Troops Week honors the active and retired service men and women and their families. During this week, the NBA teams, players and family work alongside the military and its community partners in service projects that support local communities across the United States.

Thanks to this incredible initiative and our friends at the Tragedy Assistance Program Survivors (TAPS), the NBRA had the pleasure of hosting many TAPS families at games throughout the week. Families were invited to participate in referee pre-game routines, visit the court, learn how the replay monitors work, and of course, enjoy a night of professional basketball. It’s been a wonderful week. Thanks to TAPS and Hoops For Troops for making these special moments possible.
