Tyler Ricks

Tyler Ricks is in his first season as an NBA staff official. As a non-staff official, he refereed six regular-season games in the 2022-23 NBA season and eight regular-season games in the 2023-24 NBA season.
Ricks officiated nine seasons in the NBA G League, where he refereed playoff games six years and Finals games two years.
The Georgia native has six years of officiating experience in college basketball, with assignments in the Atlantic Sun, Big South, Peach Belt and Gulf South conferences, as well as in the National Junior College Athletic Association and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. He also spent three years as a high school referee, including officiating the Georgia state high school championship in 2015.
Ricks lettered in track & field and baseball at Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and attending football games at the University of Georgia, his alma mater.
