What We Do

The National Basketball Referees Foundation is devoted to two main objectives - education and philanthropy.

We focus primarily on:

Serving as positive role models for our nation's youth

Providing opportunities for working basketball referees to refine and strengthen their skills

Supporting our communities

Helping those interested in being a basketball referee

The National Basketball Referees Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established by the National Basketball Referees Association, which represents all NBA referees, to support and promote its members' charitable and educational goals.

The NBRF offers training and development programs for basketball officials at all levels of the profession, awards needs-based scholarships to student-athletes, encourages community-based service activities, and supports national and local charitable efforts.
