Message: Obviously you are a Nuggets fan.
While I did not see the game - I can catagorically state that you are wrong.
As an Official at the DIII College level and having worked very hard to get there, I can tell you it just doesn't happen like that.
As often as these guys are reviewed and graded on their game calling abilities - it just doesn't happen.
You have the right as a fan to not like the officiating but to make blanket statements about the ability of professionals who do their job with no regard for who wins every night, they just love the game and their jobs, shows the true fanatisim you have for your team. As well as a lack of understnading of officiating in general.
It would do you better to actually learn not only the rules of the game but the theory of the calls and how they are made, so you can better understand the game and be a better fan of the game, than to say the ref's sucked because you didn't like the calls, and your team lost.
Maybe the Nuggets Players were gambling on the game.
The fact that the Lakers bench out scored the Nuggets bench 44 - 34 and that A. Carter played 31 minutes and didn't score (8 ppg Average), C. Anthony was held 12 points under his average in the game might have had something to do with it. The fouls were 27 - 21 in count which is not out of line.
Do not disparrage people for doing their job without stating all the facts,
your team lost the game by 17 points, two of your players (which covers that spread) didn't play up to their standard. Accept the fact and move on!
