Tony Brothers and Bennett Salvatore called a terrible game - on both sides. They are inconsistent in their foul calls; many minor touches are called and huge fouls underneath the basket are overlooked. I watched players who do not normally complain and they were stunned at the numerous bad calls in that game. I just read Brothers' experience in officiating and I am stunned as I have watched him several times this season and he seems like a clueless rookie. Please evaluate his (and Salvatore's performance in this game and reprimand them and bench them for the playoffs. They are not ready for the big show when it matters.

Why is it the hack a shaq is allowed,i think they should shoot two and get the ball back! also i believe some funny business is going on with these refs the calls are all san antonio and every series with the Spurs is won by calls not the Game played.

I agree, Why is it the hack a shaq is allowed, I think they the suns should give the ball to anyone that they want, shoot two! I also can't believe the refs blew some terrible calls in game 5. Shaq was no where around the ball and he got called for tripping.
I believe some funny business is going on with these refs San Antonio got more breaks than the suns did. They gave the series to the Spurs.
If calls like these continue I will no longer support NBA.

Funny business? For real? Come on, don't be ridiculous. The refs' jobs - their entire lives - are predicated on calling a game correctly and fairly. They are judged and tested DAILY by the NBA and independent administers as to the accuracy of their calls, knowledge of rules, style of officiating. They've all worked their way up from youth games to high school to college to NBA games. They're really good at what they do - and their only focus is on calling things as correctly as possible. NBA refs are the 58 greatest referees in the world. They have to be. Refs do make mistakes - but it's a human game, that's the point. There is no big conspiracy, and no reason to presume so. And it's tiring to hear.

AND have any of you ever studied the rule-book? Or are you deciding things because of what broadcasters and pundits say who don't know the intricacies of the game?

All the SPURS did was play within the rules. Clearly the some are bad for the game but, San Antonio did nothing wrong!! If people wanna complain about something they should complain about Shaq not making a free throw!! If he could San Antonio wouldn't have fouled him!! Problem solved!!
